Inspiring Artist • Conlin Miller

I created this piece for the BYU School of Music in concert (see what I did there?) with two other artist videos. You’ll have to read one of the other ones to find out how I got in trouble shooting them. This one was filmed at Thanksgiving Point, thanks to the generosity of the Ashtons who waved the filming fee. CJ Jordan added some stunning drone aerial photography and we hired a couple of strong men to move the grand piano around.

Oh, also, at one point we were filming at the edge of the property for Thanksgiving Point and we could see the “secret” NSA building just up the hill. I told CJ, “Hey, why don’t you fly your drone straight up towards that building as close as you can and see what happens.” Turns out he was smart enough to not listen to me on that.

Scott Wilhite directed and produced this piece.
