1998 commercial • I’m 14

This is a bonus feature to show how powerful and long lasting stories can be.

This TV spot actually came from the radio script I had developed. When director, Tom Oliphant saw it he had the kids recite these lines too and we got two commercials out of one shoot. One of the golden moments in my career was when I was driving some inner city kids home and the radio commercial kicked on. I watched in my rear view mirror as they mouthed along with the words. We got through their “You can’t tell me what to do” barriers!
