Probably the most inspired project I’ve been a part of. Arnold Friberg told me once, “I don’t create anything. The picture comes to me. Comes tapping me on the shoulder. The picture already exists. It comes to me saying, ‘You have been selected to bring me to be seen.’ Then I try to be faithful to bring it about.”

That’s what happened to me with this film.

At 4pm on a sunny Fall afternoon I stood outside the Maeser Building and saw a young man walk out of the building with a candle in his hand. As I wrote the scene down on a yellow legal pad I thought, “Hmmmm. That’s interesting. What’s next?” I was then directed to stand at a different place in front of the building where I was shown the next shot… and the next… and the next until it was finally fully shown to me. Then began the arduous process of putting the team and resources together to actually pull this off (a miracle in itself).
